A nine-speed wet-clutch automatic gearbox delivers up to 30% quicker shifts than a traditional torque-converter auto, with Launch Control for maximum off-the-line acceleration. Power is routed through an intelligent all-wheel-drive system and a carbon-fiber prop shaft capable of handling the DBX S’s massive torque, enabling 0–60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a 193-mph top speed.
Engineered for Absolute Control
DBX S uses triple-chamber air suspension, electronic variable dampers, and eARC active roll control. Calibrated specifically for S, the system tightens body control without sacrificing long-distance comfort. In GT mode, it glides over imperfect surfaces; select Sport or Sport+ and the SUV hunkers down with increased firmness, quicker responses, and supercar-like control.
An air of superiority
The polycarbonate honeycomb grille and reworked front apertures deliver massive airflow to cool the engine, drivetrain, and brakes while reducing weight ahead of the front axle. Underneath, an optimized rear diffuser and integrated rear wing manage pressure and reduce drag. Quad stacked exhausts cut back pressure and enhance the V8 soundtrack, giving DBX S a more brutal, assertive character even at idle.
Five Modes. One Dominant Character.
A rotary control on the center console unlocks five drive modes – GT, Sport, Sport+, Terrain, and Individual – altering throttle mapping, shift strategy, suspension, steering, and exhaust note. Steering is 4% quicker for greater agility and a tighter turning circle, while the e-differential and advanced traction calibration push grip and stability to new extremes.

An available gloss black polycarbonate honeycomb grille with over 25,000 facets gives DBX S an unmistakable face and reduces weight ahead of the front axle for improved balance. A reprofiled lower splitter and unique outer aero planes feed massive cooling air to the V8 while visually widening the front of the SUV.
Assertive aesthetics
New side sills with upturned winglets guide airflow down the flanks and visually lower the car. The iconic side strake is reinterpreted with a unique solid-metal S badge. Self-presenting door handles and flush-glass swivel-head mirrors give a clean, technical look and integrate cameras for the 3D surround-view system.
