Aston Martin Vanquish heading to L.A. Auto Show

The all-new Aston Martin Vanquish will make its public debut in the U.S. during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show later on this month.

After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year on the Old Continent, the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announced its debut over-seas during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, on the 28th of November.

The new Vanquish has captured the imagination of customers and enthusiasts across the region as it has toured the country, receiving a hugely encouraging response. In conjunction with our dealer partner Galpin Aston Martin, the Los Angeles Auto Show is our final stop of 2012 before first deliveries to the region commence in the new yearā€, said the vice president of Aston Martin Americas, Julian Jenkins.

As a quick reminder, the Aston Martin Vanquish is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, producing a total output of 565 BHP and having a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is done in just 4.1 seconds and the top speed achieved by the new Vanquish is 295 km/h (183 mph). Prices for the Aston Martin Vanquish have been set at 189,995 GBP in the UK, while in the US the model will start at 279,995 USD, where it will be available as a 2+0 or a 2+2 coupe.
